Mrs. Meisha S. Cruickshank is the lead counsel at her Chambers, Cruickshank Law Office, which commenced operation in January 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Human Resource Development with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica in 2008, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Second Class Honours from the University of London, England in 2012. She was awarded a Legal Education Certificate at the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica in 2014.
Her experience includes representation in commercial real estate purchases; advising on formation of domestic and international (offshore) companies; advising on compliance and obtaining Cannabis licences; acting in commercial projects; advising on Alien Land Holding License applications for non-Vincentians who wish to own land and property in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and planning and settling estates.
Meisha is a staunch religious liberty advocate. She believes in liberty of conscience, for peoples of all faith. As an advocate of entrepreneurship, education and training, she, along with her husband, are the founders and Directors of the Maranatha Education Foundation, a non-profit organization formed in 2018. Meisha is a Jamaican by birth and a Vincentian by marriage.
